Memories start in Halawa

The first house I remember as a child is when we lived in Halawa across from Pearl Harbor. I know we lived some place before that but my memories start there. We lived across a cul-de-sac and I was friends with a family that lived there. Their last names were Muirs. I think that was the spelling. They had a bunch of poodles and they always dyed them different colors. They had a farm in Kahaluu and they had horses there.

I remember we played with an Ouija board once and we called for Abe Lincoln something fell and I got scared and ran off. I was very young and they being older than me played on my fear. When I ran off they chased me down and told me we had to go back and send him back to where he came from or he would cause us all kinds of problems. That was the last time I played with an Ouija board for a very long time.
